Prohibited Content: Shocking or Disturbing Content

Prohibited Content Category: 
Other forms of shocking or disturbing content, including but not limited to graphic depictions of bodily functions or fluids, grotesque images, footage, or audio, or other potentially offensive, obscene, or sensitive events.

Additional Guidelines: 

Content cannot include:

  • Disturbing or Shocking Imagery or Themes: Content that contains gruesome, graphic, or disgusting imagery or themes.  Examples could include excessive blood, guts, gore, bodily fluids or waste, or similar imagery or themes.
  • Offensive, Obscene, and Explicit Language: Content containing explicit profanity (e.g., the “F-word”), slurs relating to race, sexuality, or other protected characteristics, or obscured or symbolic profanity conveyed through misspellings, symbols, or emojis, and profane gestures (e.g., “F__K” or the middle finger emoji). 
  • Sensitive Events: Content that appears to discuss, exploit, dismiss, condone, or attribute blame for events with significant social, cultural, or political impact, such as civil emergencies, acts of war, natural disasters, public health emergencies, terrorism and related activities, conflict, or mass acts of violence.
