Giovanni Ge is Vice President of Engineering at AppLovin. AppLovin makes technologies that help businesses of every size connect to their ideal customers. Under Gio's leadership, AppLovin's Research Science team develops AI models on a global scale, building state-of-the-art recommendation models, and managing one of the largest ad exchanges in the world. Before joining AppLovin, Giovanni's career path included leading research in machine learning at Meta, BlackRock and Uber. He has a PhD, Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA) and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Science and Technology of China.
