First, you’ll want to sign up for an account. After that, set yourself up with an MMP (if you haven’t already) to benchmark current CPIs and discuss goals with your AppLovin account leads.

Then, you’ll want to prepare an initial investment. Your AppDiscovery “learning phase” will begin and lasts around 2 weeks, during which time your initial spend will fund a Mobile App Install (MAI) campaign (aka CPI campaign).

The goal of the MAI campaign is to acquire the learnings necessary to calibrate our machine learning algorithm, test creatives, and iterate for optimal performance.
