MREC (Medium Rectangle) ads

Medium Rectangle ads, or MRECs, are essentially larger versions of banner ads that have the same functionality as interstitial ads. They use more screen real estate than banner ads to more readily catch a user’s attention.

MRECs measure in at 300 x 250 pixels, and are therefore sometimes called 300 x 250s. They may also be referred to as MPUs (Mid-Page Units).
